Privacy, in plain language.

Witty Games is designed to work without an account. Most personal choices stay in your browser, while online rooms temporarily store the information needed to run a match.

What stays on your device

Your display name, profile choices, match history, home-screen layout, accessibility settings, audio settings, and multiplayer reconnection tokens are stored in your browser. Witty Games does not currently synchronize that information between devices.

You can remove profile and match history from Settings. Clearing this site's browser data removes all locally saved Witty Games information.

What online games store

When you join an online room, Witty Games stores your display name, generated player and session identifiers, connection status, ready status, game actions, and authoritative match state in Cloudflare Durable Objects. Other people in the same room can see your display name and public match state.

Use a nickname rather than your full name, email address, phone number, or other personal information. Abandoned lobbies expire after one hour, active rooms are capped at six hours, and finished rooms are removed within one day of creation.

Operations and third parties

Cloudflare hosts the site and processes normal network information such as IP addresses, request metadata, security signals, and operational logs. Some game pages request fonts from Google Fonts and icons from jsDelivr, so those providers receive ordinary network request information.

Witty Games currently has no advertising network, behavioral tracking, or sale of personal information.
